Taking care of hair โ€“ ayurvedic perspective

To have thick & healthy hair the head skin needs to be healthy

Sun ๐ŸŒž๐ŸŒก tends to dry the hair as well as the head therefore always cover your head on a sunny day.

Heat in the head area is also created by brain activity ๐Ÿค“ what causes early grey hairs and falling of the hair. Make sure you do not worry and meditate ๐Ÿ™ regularly in order to calm the mind.

Wash your hair with warm water but wash off the shampoo with cold water. It keeps the head skin tonned and makes it easy to wash off the shampoo.

Healthy diet keeps the hair healthy from the inside out. Consume a diet rich in iron, Zink , vitamins B and C ๐ŸŽ๐Ÿ๐Ÿ‰๐Ÿ‹๐ŸŒฝ๐ŸŒถ๐Ÿ„๐Ÿ†

Massage your head as it allows the minerals from your food to get into the base of your hair.

How to massage your head?
Use warm seasam oil or coconut oil. You can also use almond oil or grape seed oil. Warm oil gets soaked in better.
Put the oil onto your fingertips and massage the whole head. Leave it for 20min or even for the whole night๐ŸŒ™ if you can.

Use herbal ๐Ÿƒโ˜˜๐ŸŒฟshampoo to wash your hair. Detergents arenโ€™t healthy for your hair.
